After successfully completing her BA(Hons) in English, Film and Drama in Reading,  Joanna (never one to do things the right way round!) graduated from Falmouth College of Art with her Art Foundation (distinction).

Following a stint in London she completed her MA (Interactive Media) at UWE’s Bower Ashton campus.

Now writing and performing with Bare Threads Joanna has had a hand in developing and establishing the vintage, hand drawn look and feel of Bare Threads up til now.

She has created visuals, incorporating old super 8 footage and vintage adverts, for several years and has recently showcased her penchant for 1950s dancing girls with her projections at Bristol’s Metropolis club for Bare Threads’ recent support slot with The Herbaliser.

Joanna continues to work with websites and get up to mischief on the interwebs.
